The Horizon Standardisation Booster (HSbooster.eu) project is offering a free-to-attend webinar to the European standardisation community.
The webinar will be complemented by two key people in the European Standardisation landscape: Mr. Ashok Ganesh, Director of Market Perspectives and Innovation, CEN – CENELEC;
and Mr. David Boswarthick, Director of New Technologies, ETSI.
The webinar is specially tailored to individuals and organisations participating in EU-funded R&I projects, as well as individuals interested in gaining insights into the fundamentals of standardisation.

European Standardisation System context of the webinar
The European Standardisation System plays a crucial role in establishing and strengthening the European Single Market.
It is a unique system globally, whereupon publication, European standards become national standards in 34 European countries.
This facilitates the free circulation of services and products, enabling cross-border trade within Europe and worldwide.
The standards are developed by the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation (CENELEC),
and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
As well as learning more about CEN-CENELEC, ETSI and the various standardisation priorities, participants in the webinar will be able interact with the speakers and ask questions.
The webinar is closely linked to the
HSbooster.eu Training Academy,
offering a
dedicated module on the European Standardisation System.
